Spend a summer making solar cookers in Nicaragua. Sharpen your business skills while immersing yourself in German culture. Perfect your second — or third, fourth or fifth — language by engaging in conversation with the locals at a busy Madrid market. Your education at the University of Dayton extends well beyond our campus through a variety of international programs.

Summer Education Abroad
Personalize your international experience with the Summer Study Abroad Program. With our interdisciplinary option, you can choose from seven to 10 sites during the months of May, June and July, spending approximately three to four-and-a-half weeks at each program site. Courses are offered from a variety of disciplines and are usually taught by UD professors. Past sites have included Bangalore, Dublin, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris and Rome.

Semester/Academic Year Abroad
You don't have to be on our campus to achieve academic success. You don't even have to be on the same continent!

Additional programs are offered in Argentina, Australia, Austria, China, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, the United Kingdom and many others.

Service Opportunities Abroad
Looking to make a difference as part of your international experience? Service programs during spring break or over the summer allow you to develop a deeper understanding of the local culture through travel, job placements and everyday interactions. Past destinations have included Bangalore, Cameroon and Guatemala. You can also participate in ETHOS to use the skills you learn in the classroom to benefit the lives of people in developing countries. Visit the Service Abroad Web Site >>
