From across the country and around the world, students come to the University of Dayton with innumerable interests and aspirations. Whether they're implementing solar technology in Nicaragua, ministering to others over Chipotle burritos or sharing home-cooked Vietnamese food with friends, our students are working together, sharing their experiences and making an impact on the world.

As a Catholic, Marianist university, the University of Dayton was founded on the hallmark of the family spirit and the sense of equality of all human beings. We pride ourselves on providing you with rich experiences and opportunities to share with your classmates in our inclusive, nurturing community.

Programs and Activities
As a residential campus, we offer countless opportunities for extracurricular involvement. Sing your heart out as a member of the Ebony Heritage Singers. Share your culture through El Orgullo Latino. Learn professional skills as a member of the National Association of Black Accountants or Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Approximately 180 clubs and organization are available on campus, so no matter what your interests are, you're sure to find a way to pursue them.

Before your first year, you will have the opportunity to participate in UD Transitions, an interactive program encouraging you to take control of your education and enjoy a positive college experience. College success workshops, a fair and student panels will help you become connected to the University — and other students.

Want to learn the art of leadership? Looking for a way to educate and empower others? During the annual Colors of Leadership Conference, multicultural students from various universities, colleges and high schools convene at the University to learn how to develop and share their leadership skills with members of their communities.
