Over 90 percent of University of Dayton students qualify for financial assistance. The first step in applying for financial aid is to apply to the University of Dayton. You must be admitted to receive an official financial aid award.

Next, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Submit this form to the processing agency as soon as possible after January 1 and list the University of Dayton (CODE #003127) to receive the results. Visit the FAFSA Web Site >>

If you complete the FAFSA online, you must either register to receive a PIN, which can be used to electronically sign your FAFSA, or print out, sign and send the signature page to the processing agency. If you choose to register for a PIN, both you and your parent must complete the signature process electronically. You must submit a FAFSA each year, and your PIN will remain the same each year you reapply.

Financial aid applications received by March 31 will receive priority, so we recommend submitting your FAFSA to the processing agency by March 1.
