Application Requirements

Application requirements and entry terms vary by program. To find specific information on application requirements please review the details of your chosen program.
 
Most programs will require:

  • Application
  • A graduate entrance examination
  • Letters of recommendation
  • A personal statement / writing sample
  • Transcripts from previously attended institutions
An official academic record issued directly by each attended institution must be received. The record must include dates of attendance, all subjects studied, and grades earned or marks achieved on examinations. These credentials must be in the original language (as issued) and accompanied by a certified English translation if the documents are not in English. Please review the specific academic documents required from selected countries. Documents must be sent directly from the institution to the address below:

Application fee

The application fee for international students is $50 (U.S.)

We prefer to receive payment of the application fee online. You can only pay the application fee two business days (Monday-Friday) after submitting the application. If you apply on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, the earliest that you will be able to pay the application fee online is the following Wednesday. The fee can be paid:


1.Through our secure payment page.
 
2.By bank draft, check, or money order drawn in U.S. dollars from a U.S. bank or U.S. branch of your local bank. All checks should be payable to "University of Dayton" and sent to this address:
