More about Dr. Jackson Goodnight

If Jackson did not have to work anymore, he would want to reengage with hobbies that he no longer has time for, like painting. He would also like to spend more time with his family. However, he enjoys his research so much that he would still want to do what he is doing now.

One thing Jackson thinks most people wouldn't know about him is that he is a Xavier graduate. Jackson went to Xavier for his undergraduate degree. He liked the mission of Xavier and felt that UD had a similar one. He says that it is hard to watch games when Xavier and Dayton compete against each other, so he just doesn't watch them anymore.

Having the freedom to pursue ideas is what Jackson enjoys most about his job. He also enjoys being able to have meaningful connections with a lot of different people and being able to make a difference through his teaching and research.

One thing on Jackson's bucket list would be to travel more. When asked if he had any hobbies, Jackson responded that his job has become his hobby. He enjoys his area of research and likes reading about it. He also added that currently his main hobby is playing with his three-year-old daughter, Madelyn.

Jackson says that his primary source of excitement in his life right now is his daughter. He enjoys watching her grow, and she keeps him very entertained. This past summer, Jackson and his wife took Madelyn to Disneyworld, which was an exciting and fun time for the family.
