The University of Dayton provides a myriad of services to students, faculty and staff through programs of the Ryan C. Harris Learning Teaching Center (LTC). Their staff is always there to help you.
The Write PlaceOur mission is one of service.
Our writing consultants encourage, guide, and support student writers on any writing assignment and at any stage of the writing process. We work with all students in their efforts to become better writers, not in their efforts to produce perfect papers. Our consultants ask questions, offer feedback, and strongly encourage student writers to talk through the thinking and planning process that is central to all stages of the writing process. The Write Place is located on the second floor of the Roesch Library and we offer drop‐in service, no appointment necessary, Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. The Write Place also offers electronic drop‐off and return of drafts for peer review.
