Experience Dayton as a river city with our community programs
The Rivers Institute’s community programs provide groups the opportunity to experience Dayton as a river city. The River Stewards are able to provide a wide range programs including: a facilitated service project, a lesson on our local watershed, a relaxing paddle at Eastwood Lake or a guided kayak tour of Dayton. Groups also benefit by having an opportunity to work together and get to know one another outside of their normal environments. For those interested in focusing on team-building, there are a variety of activities that can be done on land or via water. Regardless of the programming, our goal is the same; through our rivers we hope to foster a sense of place and pride in our participants.
