Environment Science Week is a national and international event to help the public gain a better understanding and appreciation for the Earth sciences and to encourage stewardship of the Earth. ESW promotes the value of Earth science research and its application to our daily lives.

Sigma Gamma Epsilon
This honor society was established on March 10, 1915 to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the Earth sciences. It has for its objectives the scholastic, scientific, and professional advancement of its members and the extension of relations of friendship and assistance among colleges and universities devoted to the advancement of the Earth Sciences. There are nearly 200 chapters throughout the United States.

Sustainability Club
The goal of the Sustainability Club, a service organization, is fostering sustainable practices through education and action. Club members work with students, the UD community and companies to encourage sustainable living.
