Areas of Study - Concentrations
What is a concentration? Each International Studies major has the opportunity to refine and define his or her own area of study. Whether regional or thematic, you will be able to decide which of these areas will best suit your future plans. If you have not yet decided the path your future will take, be reassured that many students do not choose their concentrations until the end of their sophomore year. The Program Director will be happy to discuss the concentrations and their contribution, not only to your International Studies degree, but to your graduate school education and eventual career as well.
