Music
Students who have strong background, talent, and interest in music but do not wish to major in music may elect a minor, consisting of one year's study each of music theory and music history, and 8 additional credits of electives, including either performance study (private lessons) and/or ensemble participation. Students will be accepted into the program with completion of an interview with the department chair and contingent upon classes having space available. The minor requires 22 semester hours.
