Tuition for the Vocal Performance Institute has recently been reduced.
Cost of Attendance
The Department of Music is happy to announce that Institute pricing has been reduced for 2012. Residential students will pay $475 and commuters will pay $365, making it the most reasonably priced program of its type in the area. A nonrefundable application fee of $50 is due at the time of registration.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Talent and need-based scholarships are available upon request on a first come, first served basis. More than 90% of past participants received some type of financial aid and many received scholarships. Scholarship applicants should complete the following steps: have two letters of recommendation sent to Dr. Minnita Daniel-Cox; complete and mail registration form and $50.00 application fee as specified below; and contact Dr. Daniel-Cox to request a scholarship application.

Payment Methods
Payment may typically be made by check or money order and should be mailed to the address below.
Registration Details
Registration begins on January 1 and ends on May 25, 2012 with scholarships announced by May 28. Register early because scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Application Fee
$50.00. This is a non-refundable fee. Due at time of registration.
Deposit
$100.00. With the application fee, a deposit ensures place in program. Due four weeks before camp begins.
Late Registrations
After the May 25 deadline, registrations will be accepted up to June 1 with an additional $30 late fee. Late applications will not be considered for scholarships.
Cancellations
Fully refunded cancellations, minus $50.00 non-refundable application fee, may be made until the June 1 deadline. After June 1, housing and meal portion of tuition is forfeited and a $175 late cancellation fee will be subtracted from refund amount. Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email or postal mail by the guardian who registered the participant. No refunds will be granted ten working days before the institute begins.

All registrants must complete these forms and mail them to the following address. Commuters, please read the Commuter Contract below. This contract must be signed and submitted with all commuter registrations.
