What will I research in the teacher education department research classes?


Education professors encourage students to do research in their topic area which could include a wide range of interests within music education. Students are able to choose a research topic that fits their interests and concentrations.

How long does it take to earn this degree?


The required music courses are offered only during the summer (except MUS 599 which is offered every term). Teacher Education courses are offered throughout the year. Due to the flexibility of course offerings, most students who are full-time music teachers are able to finish in three years.
