Humanities Base Writing Contest
The Alumni Chair in Humanities administers the annual student Humanities Base Writing Contest, which recognizes papers that contain easily identifiable themes and make use of clear prose and effective reasoning. These papers should be persuasive or entertaining with a clear sense of voice. Submissions are judged by members of the university faculty. Deadline is in April of each year.
