The Office of the Dean provides support for academic advisors throughout the College of Arts and Sciences. View important advising information from the links at right and consider the important and helpful points below.
- The General Education web site provides information pertaining to General Education and Competencies.
- The Advising Handbook, prepared by the Office of the Dean, provides valuable information for advisors. The handbook is also available in binder format.
- There are three Assistant Deans for Student Academic Affairs, located in the Office of the Dean. Each assistant dean provides advising for specific areas of study.
- Instructors of ASI 150: First-Year Experience are encouraged to use an online resource for students, such as Isidore or Quickplace. These web sites can provide syllabi, assignments, and a wide range of class activities.
