Graduate Assistantships in the Department of Religious Studies
As a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Religious Studies, you will receive a stipend plus tuition remission for eighteen semester hours of tuition per academic year.
From mid-August through mid-May, graduate assistants are expected to dedicate an average of twenty hours per week to quality work for the department.
Responsibilities of a graduate assistant are determined in conjunction with the faculty with whom he/she assist. These usually include assisting faculty in research, grading or teaching, academic committee work or some combination of this work.
All University of Dayton graduate assistants also have access to individual health care coverage for a modest fee deducted from the bi-monthly stipend paycheck; family coverage is available for a higher fee.
