Winter's Tale

William Shakespeare's Winter's Tale, directed by Linda Dunlevy, was presented by the University of Dayton Theatre Program October 19-27, 2012. One of his later works, in this play Shakespeare takes the audience on a wild ride from Sicilia to Bohemia. Performers were: Alex Chilton as Leontes; Jenna Gomes as Hermione; Mary Mykytka as Mamillius/Perdita; Jonathan "JG" Golab as Polixenes; Kevin Cavallaro as Florizel/Officer; Patrick Coyle as Camillo; Brennan Paulin as Antigonus/Gentleman; Beverly Dines as Paulina; Rebecca Hale as Emilia/Guest; Owen Ginley as Gentleman/Mariner/Time/Autolycus; Brandon Woods as Archidamus/Shepherd/Lord; Bryan Bryk as Clown/Guard/Jailer; Kevin Shaefer as Cleomenes/Lord/Guest; Suhaib Baghdadi as Dion/Lord/Guest; Alex Burchfield as Lady 2/Guest/Servant; Taylor Ruffin as Mopsa; Christina Pierce as Dorcas; Leah Titlebaum as Servant/Lady/Guest; Yuan Zhau as Servant/Lady/Guest; and Margie Powel as Servant/Lady/Guest. The bear was portrayed by various distinguished faculty members and the stand in was Jonathan "JG" Golab.
