The University of Dayton Wellness' Be Body Positive campaign is making an appearance in the Roesch Lobby this week. The Pink Lady cutout encourages those who pass by to be “body positive.” Students can write why they love their body on Post-It notes to stick on the Pink Lady. “It is our hope that these cutouts across campus will be filled with positive ideas pertaining to body image,” said Beth Cahill, Wellness Graduate Assistant. We saw notes that pointed out specific attributes such as “my hair” or “my smile,” while others wrote “because it is healthy” and “because God made me beautiful.”
