Finals Week

05.03.2011

Goodmorning! I hope you are having a great week! Even though it's finals week, I am having a great week! I was really lucky to have already had my worst final yesterday, so now I just have work to do.

Sunday, one of my roommates moved out. She has been co-oping at Turner down in Cincinnati all semester, and she gets to continue through the summer, so she got an apartment in Cincinnati for the summer. There are so many people doing so many cool things this summer! A lot of the River Stewards are staying on campus and working on the River Leadership Curriculum, which is a class taught here every spring and fall. It is also quite popular for people to travel this summer. So far I know two people going to Germany for a sustainability summer abroad experience, Spain to study abroad, Cameroon to work at a hospital, internships all over such as a wildlife reserve in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Cincinnati Children's Hospital, etc. College is just such a great time to do all these crazy things!

Anyways, yesterday was my physics final, so I am officially done with physics for the rest of my life!!! I think I am also done with math completely, which is a great feeling! I actually have a pretty easy finals week because I am taking o. chem. at Sinclair. I have class at Sinclair still, but all I have left is a paper, a project, and my music final, so I got off easy.

Yesterday I went to dinner with Sister Kathleen again, and we ended up chatting for an hour and a half! I really enjoy talking to her because I wasn't raised in a strict Catholic household and I went to public school, so I don't know very much about the Catholic church, but I have been learning a lot from her.

Welp, I have a paper to write, so I will talk to you later!
