Are you athletic?

04.26.2012If you are then there is no better place to come than at the University of Dayton. The majority of students at UD are involved in some sort of physical activity, whether that be dancing, yoga, pilates, or any kind of intramural sports. Before I came to UD, I used to be the most passive person, when it came to doing any sports, exercises or any kind of physical activity. During my sophomore year at UD, I decided that I will not waist the excellent facilities at the Rec Plex and try some sort of a workout. I used to go swimming from time to time, but that required a lot of duties (changing, drying myself up, my hear and all that stuff), so it wasn't too appealing. Then for some reason (It could have been that a friend invited me), I went to a free yoga session. And, oh was I hooked after that... Ever since my sophomore year I have become religious about Yoga. If I don't do the complete work out of an hour every day, I at least try do to the 15 minutes of quick exercises. But, I try my best to do Yoga at least four times a week. Nowadays, I also rent the bikes at the Rec Plex for free and go riding with friends. It's great!! Just the many awesome things about UD...
