Flight to Kosova05.09.2012I am back to Prishtina, Kosovo (my home country) for the summer. I will be here for three and a half months, until I need to get back to UD for my last semester.
This time my connection was excellent. I flew from Dayton to Washington DC. I had only an hour and a half of a layover in DC, different from the last couple of years when I had to wait for six hours at the airport. So, this was a huge relief. Then I flew to Vienna, where I also had only an hour and a half, and finally I got to Kosovo. This went much quicker and I was not so exhausted by the time I got to Prishtina.
The last couple of years, I used to have a six hour layover in DC and five hours in Vienna. So, this worked very well.
The only little incident that I had was, that the airplane food was not very good ( as usual - I dislike it so much) and I was taking a coughing pill which whacked me out so I threw up seven times until I got to Kosovo.
It started on the flight to Vienna, then, like four years ago, I was throwing up in the Vienna airport and all throughout the flight to Kosovo.
It is impossible for me to have a normal flight, always adventurous - looking at the bright side, at least I have a story to tell...
