Rocky Horror Picture Show

Last night was the first night of the Rocky Horror Picture Show that is a tradition at Tim’s.  It also happened to be the first time that I have ever seen this show and I had no idea what to expect.

Since Rocky Horror is a tradition, my roommate and I decided that we needed to cross it off of our bucket list during our senior year.  Neither of us really knew anything about the show, other than the fact that most people show up to it wearing some sort of lingerie.

After we arrived and both received lipstick “V’s” on our foreheads, I was a little nervous.  I didn’t realize that the show incorporates audience participation and I am not one to participate in the theater openly.

Overall, the show was very...interesting. That’s really the only word that I can think of to describe it.  All of the actors and actresses did a wonderful job in the show and I think it might have made more sense to me if I had seen the movie or knew anything about the show beforehand.  I was soooo confused whenever we were watching it and after it.  I’m not really quite sure what the point of the whole thing was.  But, it was definitely an experience.

Rocky Horror: check.
