I Work Out!


This year my roommate and I have been going strong at the gym. And by strong, I mean that we have been working out at least four times a week, which I love. I love seeing the way that my body is capable of changing and how muscles can form. I love knowing that I am improving with each workout that I do and each cardio session that I complete.

We are currently on week 4 of our 12 week program, one-third of the way done, and both of us have already been seeing major results...I can't wait to see how much I've changed on week 12! We have also been trying to attend Zumba every Friday. For those of you who do not know yet what Zumba is, it is a latin-dancing inspired workout that definitely gets your heart rate up. We like doing this on Fridays, because the music and dancing gets you pumped up for the upcoming weekend and is a really fun workout to do!

So, if you've been thinking about starting a workout whether it's to get yourself in shape, raise your self-esteem, or get those endorphins moving, I would strongly recommend it. It will be tough at times, especially during the first few weeks, but push through and soon you will be addicted to going and it will become a part of your daily routine! I would also suggest that you convince someone to do it with you, because then you will be held more accountable. When I do not feel like going to the gym, my roommate will push me to go and vice versa. No regrets!
