Cosmic Bowling!

01.16.2012Last night a group of friends and I went cosmic bowling. For those of you that have never been, cosmic bowling doesn’t start until 10:30 pm and goes all the way to 1 am. But that’s not the only thing different from regular bowling. Cosmic bowling is also done in the dark with laser lights, a fog machine, black lights, and blaring music. Needless to say, it’s a good time. I always seem to bowl better, when cosmic bowling because there’s not as much pressure and you don’t have those bright fluorescent lights directly on you. Plus, it’s fun to hang out with friends and dance to the music. But, one thing has definitely changed since the last time I went. Normally cosmic bowling is filled with people around the same age (anywhere from about 8th grade to people in their 20s), but this time it seemed to be more of a “date night” activity for 40 plus year olds. This made for an interesting night. After bowling, we went back to my one friend’s house and talked and watched a movie. I haven’t had a sleep over in forever, but I guess pretty much every night at college is a sleep over anyways. I had a great time and it was nice spending time with everyone before we all go back to school!
