I Feel So Old!

10.26.2010Today I got to visit my two baby second cousins. I was sooo excited because I hadn’t seen them in a while—about two months. When I got there, it was very surprising to see how much they had grown and changed in this short time span! I just couldn’t believe it! They were already sitting up on their own, and the little boy had three teeth already! His little teeth looked so adorable, in an out-of-place kind of way.

ItÂ’s weird, because it doesnÂ’t seem like all that long ago that my cousins had told me that they were pregnant. Come to think of it, it didnÂ’t seem that long ago that I was going to high school, and now IÂ’m at college! I never really believed people when they would tell me to enjoy the moment, because it goes by really fast. I always thought that it seemed to be going by at a pretty good pace. However, looking back, you realize that time really has flown by, and that you need to start living life in the moment, because before you know it youÂ’ll miss your chance. I donÂ’t want to think of how much these babies will have changed the next time I see them, being a whole month until thanksgiving break. I think this is one of the hardest thing about being away from home...you feel like youÂ’re missing out on a lot, but at the same time youÂ’re gaining so many more new experiences! It's funny because at home I feel old, but at college I feel so young!
