Let it Snow!

This morning when I woke up and went downstairs, I looked outside and there was about a foot of snow outside and it was still snowing!! It was so pretty, and I felt like I was in a snowglobe. Since the roads weren’t that great, my mom and I decided to watch movies all day. Honestly, “movie days” are one of my favorites. It’s nice to just relax and spend time with my mom. The snow outside made it even more perfect and relaxing.

At one point, there were about seven deer in my backyard, running through the snow, with the snow coming all the way up to their bellies. I have really missed seeing deer while IÂ’m at school, because IÂ’m used of seeing them on a daily basis and I love it. They look so adorable playing around in the snow, with it covering their noses and ears.

The snow makes it feel like time stands still. I think that’s one of the best things: being inside all toasty warm and relaxed, while snow is tumbling down heavily outside. By the end of the night, we had about a foot and a half, and it is still coming down outside, although not as heavily. I absolutely love snow—that is on days like this, when I don’t have to drive in it, and I am able to enjoy it’s beauty as well as the warmth of being inside.
