Reunited and it feels so good!

My best friend visited me this past weekend and it was so great to see her! She lives in Kentucky, so I donÂ’t get to see her much whenever IÂ’m back home. But now, our schools are only about 2 hours from each other, compared to the 6 hours it was when I was in Cleveland.

At first, it was really hard when she moved away, because we were going to be juniors in high school and we had hit it off right away when she moved here in eighth grade. We used to spend every single day together, so we grew really close. But, I have to say, as much as I hated her moving, it has really helped with the transition to college, because I knew that we were able to stay friends over the long distance, since our friendship was so strong. In fact, itÂ’s going on five years that weÂ’ve been friends, and I love her to death! :)

ItÂ’s funny, because even though we havenÂ’t seen each other since June, we are always able to pick up right where we left off. This normally means us babbling about everything going on in our lives for about an hour or two. Anyways, it was nice to have someone visit you that is a familiar face. We had so much fun, as we always do, even though there wasnÂ’t a whole lot going on around campus this weekend. Obviously, she joined our birthday festivities, as she was our transportation, which I was very lucky and thankful for! But, we mostly just talked, listened to music and chilled out. I was so happy to see her and I canÂ’t wait for her to visit again!
