How many days until I am back?

06.19.2008I never thought I would honestly mean it, but I am ready for summer to end. Do not get me wrong, not having to worry about major projects or final exams is awesome, but I am bored with summer. Though making money is nice, I am over it. I cannot complain, there are plenty of people without jobs right now and I am very thankful for the two I have, but I am ready to be back hanging out with my friends at the great U of D. I believe there are approximately 60 days until I am back! However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Next week I am going to Destin, Florida with my mom, Terry, brother and sister for a long weekend at the beach. It will be a great time to hangout on my moms friends boat, cruising on the ocean, and running on the beach. And when that vacation is over, back to making the money.

I apologize for not blogging as often as I need to. Working two jobs has kept me very busy, yet it is really no excuse. I think one of the things I miss most about UD is always having someone to hang out with. Back here, friends are harder to find to hangout whenever. Many like me have summer jobs, or are taking summer classes. I can only stand hanging out with my siblings for a certain period of time before they drive me up a wall, and I already go to the gym seven days a week, I really do not need to spend anymore time there. But it is all good. At the end of July I go back up to Dayton for a week so go to Cheer camp. I am not going to lie, I am a little uneasy about it, and well not really looking forward to it. I like cheerleading to a certain degree, but when it involves waking up at 6 am, and going until almost midnight every day, that is when I may lose my passion for it. It will be a new experience to say the least, and I can mark that off my list of things I have done in my life.

Hopefully everyones summer is going well. For those who are about to go into college, live it up. After this summer is over, your life will be changed. They way I go through summer is through three words: live, learn, and love. Take advantage of what you can but be safe at the same time.

I promise I will be blogging again soon. Be safe and make good choices. God Bless
