Not My Ideal Day

07.07.2009"I woke up to my alarm going off. Uh.... 8:30 in the morning... I mean its not too early but still, I could have slept for a few more hours. The reason for waking up... to take my moms spin class at the gym. I got there and walked into the room thinking ""this class is going to kick my butt""... and well it did. I dont call my mom the spin dictator for nothing. Her classes have always been hard. and not just because I said so, but other people have said the same thing.

After a soaking wet workout I went home to go get my sister so we could head to the pool. We had to stop by Walmart to pick up a few things first and thats when Walmart became my most expensive trip in a long, long . long time. My actual purchase was only three dollars... but as I went to pull out of Walmart... it happened.... I bumped into the van in front of me. ""Is this really happening?"" I thought to myself. I get out and the two women in the other car were fine. Except the woman in the drivers side looked very, very scared. I told her most of the damage was to my bumper, but the look in her eyes told me thats not what she was worried about. We decided it was no use calling the police and that was the end of it. I got back in the truck and thought to myself. ""I bet she doesnt have car insurance!!!!"" I felt bad for her but at the same time.. I hope she doesnt hurt anybody while driving.

So heres the scenario. I just damaged the bumper of my dads 2009 Dodge Ram. NOT GOOD, NOT GOOD AT ALL! I immediately took it to a dealership where I got an estimate of how much it would cost to fix. I thought I was going to pass out when they said it would cost about $1000 and some change. Thats when I had to call my dad and explain what happened. He said go ahead and get the work done on it... so thankfully he is going to pay for it. I still feel terrible. The way the accident happened... it wasnt really anybodys fault but I still feel bad. I guess I just got to live on life. Im sure many of you readers have had this feeling happen to you before. I figured I would share my experience. Hope everybodys week is going well.
