Starting another week

02.17.2008It's crazy to think that we are over halfway through February. Time is flying by as the second semester of my Freshmen year is going by. Sometimes, I just want things to slow down so I can catch my breath, but other times, I wish it would speed up, like the time around tests and quizzes.

School and cheerleading are taking up a ton of time, but busy is good. They say time flys when you are having fun, and I have to say, I am having a great time. Besides the occasional drama living the college life is more than I could ask for. Playoffs are coming up for basketball, and these last few games determine whether we go to the NCAA Tournament or the NIT. Either way, the basketball atmosphere on campus and at the arena, its simply amazing. If you ever have the chance to go to a game, take it, you will not regret it.

Last week was not such a bad week. As you might have read in other blogs, we had a snow day, which was pretty exciting. It's a good feeling waking up to an email saying class is canceled for the day because then you can go back to sleep until you wake up on your own without the pesky sound of an alarm.

This week, it will have its high and low points. The low points are not so bad, just my history midterm on Friday which is definitely manageable. The high points, one week from today, Dayton hosts its biggest rival Xavier at the arena. Not only am i excited for the basketball game, but my dad, brother, and sister are coming as well. Throughout the week, the campus will get getting ready for the biggest game of the year, and hopefully the Flyers can pull of a win. Well I must get back to my school work, but I will be keeping you all updated. As always, come to Dayton you will not regret it.

God Bless

Joe
