Summer, Summer, Summer

05.30.2008Its hard to believe that it has already been a month since leaving UD for summer vacation. Then again, it does not. No matter what, summer always passes by fast, especially when you are busy. I have continued to work two jobs so far. I make deliveries during the day, and work at the gym at night. Though it gets tiring, it helps pass time, and with higher prices on everything, I need the money.

At the moment, I am at the Atlanta airport. If you have ever been to this airport, you know how hectic it can be. Long security lines, random checks, and all the works, but today, everything ran very smoothly. The reason for being at the airport is I am actually going to Dayton today to visit my girlfriend Kelly, and some of my other friends from UD. I decided to spend a nice five day weekend, so I could visit my friends and see how everything is going. I had been planning this trip since I had finished the semester. I thought it would never come, but little did I know, this past one passed by in a blink of an eye, and here I am waiting to get on my flight.

It will be good seeing everybody. You really realize how much you miss people once you do not see them every day. The hardest thing about going home is knowing that I cannot walk twenty feet, or a floor down to visit my friends. While most of my friends live in Ohio, I am down nine hours south in HOT ATL. Another instance in living so far away is trying to keep in touch with everybody. Even if you live close to each other, there are so many people I want to talk to or even email, yet there is not enough time in a day.

Sorry for that side track, back to what is happening this weekend. Honestly, I have no clue. Kelly is making this whole weekend full of surprises, so it should be fun. I am pretty pumped to see all my friends and hangout, so no doubt it will be a scrumptious time. Yes, I did just say scrumptious. Since majority of you all do not know me on a personal level, I probably say scrumptious at least fifteen times a day. It is just my word lol.

Anyways, I hope you all are having a great summer/graduation/vacation/etc. if you want to get in touch with me, or just tell me what you are doing this summer, I would love to hear from you all. My email is joey@udayton.edu.

Be safe and make good choices.
