Reading and Bird Watching

That's how I spent my Sunday. It was quite a relaxing day. I woke up around 10:30, made coffee, ate breakfast, and ran to Aldi to get some things for lunches for the week. When I got home, I put on my bathing suit and took a blanket and book outside to Marycrest field. Aside from all the little ants, laying in the grass was quite relaxing. I might have even gotten a little bit of a tan!

Later in the day I took my book out to Serenity Pines, a little wooded area with a fountain right outside Marycrest. While I was sitting by the water, little birds kept landing and playing in the water, and they were so cute that I ended up watching them and not really reading at all. I decided to run up and get my camera so that I could officially bird watch, and it was a lot of fun. I sat there for about an hour and got some really awesome pictures.

While sometimes it's lonely not seeing a lot of people every day, this Sunday it was nice. I think I needed a break from people and working to just sit outside and do nothing too productive. But I hit the ground running this morning, working on ideas and proposals for my clients on Artstreet. I got a bit ahead of myself, so tomorrow and Wednesday might be a little slower than normal, because our proposals aren't due until then. But we'll see! I'm sure I'll be busy regardless!
