Image Frames

Size & Color

At times, full-bleed images may be framed by a colored border to establish connection to color-coded sections of an athletics piece. For example, if red is the designated color of an athletics brochure's basketball section, red may frame an image used in that section. Frames are recommended only for images that bleed off at least three sides of a page. Frames are free to live on some or all sides of the image, as well as run a partial or full length of the image. Designers are free to use their discretion.
