Flyer Angels
Thanks to a generous gift from alumnus Ron McDaniel, Flyer Angels is a $1 million early- stage fund that invests in some of Ohio's most exciting technology ventures. Entrepreneurship majors perform all due diligence, make investment decisions and interact with angel investors. Ours is one of the few entrepreneurship programs that directly involves undergraduates in angel investing.

Good leadership is essential for high performing teams in our Sophomore Entrepreneurial Experience course. p3 represents the presidents of the sophomore, junior and senior year teams. Two or three times an academic year, current and former team presidents meet to discuss good team management practices, obstacles overcome in past years and opportunities for personal growth in leadership skills for each team president. Our belief is that excellent team leadership is essential to the operation of well run teams and that students should have an opportunity to fully exploit the development of their individual group leadership skills. The UD C-E-O Club
The University of Dayton has an active CEO Club. Sponsored by the Crotty Center, this student run club provides insight and exposure to the role of entrepreneurship in our economy. Read More >>
The UD Connor Foundation Seed Fund
Thanks to the support of Dayton entrepreneur Larry Connor, the Fund provides up to $225,000 in loans to seed-stage ventures being launched by UD students and alumni. The Fund also supports the UD Business Plan Competition, guaranteeing the top three competition finalists the opportunity to pitch for support. Entrepreneurship majors sit at the table with financial experts, helping the Fund making its loan decisions. Junior or Senior Entrepreneur majors sit at the Investment Committee for one or two years, learning about venture capital investment. Following this, the ENT capstone course has one team act as consultants to entities receiving seed capital investments.
