
Graduate Assistantships
The usual graduate assistant appointment is for a period of nine months. Renewal may be awarded for a second year, contingent upon satisfactory performance. Assistantships are limited each year; therefore, competition is keen. Students are not eligible for initiation or continuation of financial assistance administered by the School of Business Administration while on academic probation. In order to be considered for a GA position in the School of Business, you must be a fully accepted MBA student.
If you are interested in applying for a Graduate Assistant position please follow the appropriate directions below based on your status in the program.
Prospective Students
When completing the Graduate Application, check the box that you are interested in a GA position. You will receive an email from the Graduate School informing you of what documents you need to submit in order to be considered for a Graduate Assistant position.
Current Students
Please contact the MBA office at 937-229-3733 or email mba@udayton.edu with your name, email address, and daytime phone number indicating your interest in a GA position. You will receive an email from the Graduate School of what documents you need to submit in order to be considered for a Graduate Assistant position.
We will keep your GA application materials on file for one year through August 15. To be considered after August 15, please re-apply on or after August 16 each year.
