ACADEMIC PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
The University of Dayton and United Nations Global Compact R.I.S.E. Forum will offer participants the chance to network with the portfolio managers and directors of some of the nation’s most successful applied investment management programs. Regardless of whether your school is affiliated with a student-managed portfolio, all faculty and students can share ideas, experiences, and best practices concerning investment strategy education throughout the course of the two and a half day event.
Opening day of the conference provides attendees with ringside seats as nationally known Wall Street experts and corporate executives discuss the economy, domestic equities, alternative investments and international/emerging markets. Students have the opportunity to guide those panel discussions through questions posed from the audience.
Breakout sessions, presented by industry professionals, examine a variety of investment-related topics, supplementing classroom knowledge and providing participants a glimpse into real-world asset management.
The R.I.S.E. Forum expands on the concept of academic program development by offering attending faculty the opportunity to present research findings, best practices, teaching innovations, etc. during a faculty-only session on Saturday morning.
