CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The R.I.S.E. organizing committee invites faculty to submit proposals for research/pedagogical presentations to be included in the regular schedule of concurrent breakout sessions offered at the R.I.S.E. XII Forum on Saturday morning, March 31, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. This invitation is being extended in the spirit of heightening the participation level of our attending faculty. A free conference registration will be awarded for accepted proposals.

The accepted proposals might be works in progress or more complete manuscripts in the areas of investments, financial management, economics, financial services or unique teaching approaches. Other topics related to investment education are welcomed. Presentations will be limited to 15 minutes, including Q&A. When formulating a proposal for submission, please consider that your audience will consist of fellow finance, accounting and economics faculty attending R.I.S.E.

Please note that proposals are to be submitted electronically to udrise@udayton.edu using the form provided below. Only proposals submitted through this online process will be considered. We request that you insert "Call for Proposals" in the subject line of your email and include the submittal form as an attachment. The deadline for submission is January 31, 2012. In cases where the suggested presentation includes multiple speakers, only one should be identified as the principal presenter/primary contact, but biographical information is required on all.

The primary contact person will be notified of acceptance or regrets by February 15, 2012. The registration fee will be waived only for the principal presenter of an accepted proposal.
