Study Abroad
Germany
(Augsburg, Berlin, Bavaria)
June 28 - August 2, 2013

Students will reside and take classes in historic Augsburg, near the Alps and the great city of Munich in the German state of Bavaria. In addition to its rich history, Augsburg has a vibrant Old Town center with great shopping and dining opportunities – and is a sister city to Dayton. The University of Augsburg is our long-standing partner in student exchange and study abroad, and this is a well-established and popular program. Augsburg is also a fantastic location from which to explore Europe. Many places in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and other countries are within easy reach by train.
There are weekend excursions planned to Berlin, and Prague, Czech Republic. Students expand learning opportunities outside the classroom with visits to German, U.S. and other firms and organizations.
We arrange for Program-related travel and all Program-related accommodations. Each student takes two courses, or three with permission of SBA Dean’s Office/Advisor. Students are responsible for ensuring that any and all prerequisites are met for business, language, or other courses taken abroad for academic credit. Students should seek counsel from their academic advisor(s) before selecting Program courses.
