BENEFITS INCLUDE A 160-YEAR TRADITION
OF IMPROVING THE WORLD.

At the University of Dayton, we've been living by the same philosophy for more than 160 years.

A dedication to knowledge, diversity, inclusion and service runs through everything we do, from the classroom to the campus.

We develop compassionate hearts and critical minds, using real-world experience to make a meaningful difference in the world. We learn to ask the hard questions.

WE FOUND A COMMON GROUND,
THEN WE BUILT A CAMPUS ON IT.

The University of Dayton isn't just made up of buildings and books.  We're a community that takes pride in enriching ourselves and the people around us.  We interact with each other as much as possible, seeking to find a common understanding and purpose in a highly diverse world.

So when you see a student high five a Marianist priest on the way to class, that's just the Dayton community at work.

What part in our community will you play?

WELCOME TO OUR 387-ACRE OFFICE.

Without the proper environment, it's hard to promote a culture of creativity and passion. That was our thinking in creating a campus that the American Society of Landscape Architects called "one of the most significant campuses in the country."  Juxtaposed against the natural landscapes and lush greenery, you'll find state-of-the-art facilities like the three-story, $25.3 million recreational super-facility we call the RecPlex with the latest in fitness amenities at your disposal.

You'll also have many opportunities to hear some of the world's most inspiring individuals speak on topics very dear to them. Recent speakers include Holocaust survivor and author Elie Wiesel; Blake Mykoskie, CEO of TOMS SHOES; and, Harlem Children's Zone CEO Geoffrey Canada of Waiting for Superman fame.
