Our Bands

There is no limit to number of participants. Choose from the beginner level concert band or the intermediate level concert band. You can switch between them at any time (they practice at the same time in separate rooms).

For those who play at the intermediate level or better, we also offer the Jazz Band. If there is enough interest, we may offer a second jazz band with easier music.

Instruments taught include flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and percussion.

Small ensembles such as quartets, trios, etc., are also available.

Rehearsals

We generally follow the University of Dayton academic calendar.

The concert bands rehearse on Thursdays from 8:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Temple Beth Or (5275 Marshall Rd, Dayton OH 45429).

The Jazz Band rehearses on Thursdays from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m., at Temple Beth Or (5275 Marshall Rd, Dayton OH 45429).
