This past spring I was scrambling to decide where I wanted to go to school. That is just the way I am, totally can't make decisions. I was freaking out for months trying to figure it out. All different kinds of schools were on my list, big public schools, small private schools, the whole shebang. Dayton was my favorite school by far though. Everything about UD was perfect for me. And, if you can find a place within Ohio in the winter, with no snow on the ground and it still is beautiful, you have got a winner. I would know I live in the Akron area.

From the moment I watched the online tour I just knew it was the perfect place. When I visited the next week, the tour guide was really nice and loved the school, you could tell, and Dayton girls are definitely on the attractive side, which is certainly a plus. It is also I believe the perfect sized school. The entire time my mother and I were there I just kept whispering to her, "I love this place!"

When I left I was completely decided. But, in the months to come I started doubting myself and I actually ended up enrolling at Kent State. Bad idea. As the weeks went by I regretted more and more my decision. How could I have done this, what is wrong with me? College choice is one of the most important decisions of your life, and I messed up. I was so unhappy about my choice I called UD and asked if I could still enroll. They said I could. That is what is so awesome about Dayton they really want you to succeed and help you on the way from what I've experienced.

Just give Dayton a chance, visit, you will not regret it. Don't be afraid to get away from home, you will survive. Discovering who you are is part of college and Dayton's going to help you. It's already helped me and I haven't even started classes yet.
