Profile

Suzanne began serving as Intensive English Program Student Advisor after teaching in the IEP from January 2011 to July 2012. She previously taught ESL at Indiana University, where she focused especially on increasing reading and writing fluency with first-year international undergraduates. While studying the Arabic language in Morocco from 2006-2007, Suzanne volunteered as an EFL teacher with the American Legation Museum in Tangier, and this experience led her to pursue her career in teaching English as a second language.

As a graduate of the University of Dayton, Suzanne is passionate about creating opportunities for intercultural exchange between international and domestic students to promote that feeling of community that defines what it means to be a Flyer.
