Profile
Nicky Adams is a full-time lecturer in English, teaching professional communication and first-year composition courses. She began her teaching career at Centerville High School in 1988, after earning her B.S. in Education from Miami University. She completed her M.A. in English with a concentration in Communication Studies at Wright State University. At WSU, Nicky taught composition and business communication courses for several years and directed the University Writing Center. Before joining UD, Nicky worked in the Workforce Development and Corporate Services Division at Sinclair Community College, where she consulted with area businesses to assess training and development needs and implement related programs for their employees.
