Profile

I am interested in teaching mathematics and statistics to students by bringing into the classroom case studies and data sets that help make the topics discussed in the class relevant to real world situations. I want the student to believe that what they are learning is useful in their careers and in their life after college.

Degrees

  • M.S., Florida State University, 1964
  • B.S., University of Dayton, 1963

Research Interests

I am interested in applying statistical methods, specifically experimental design and model building, to a wide variety of applied problems. Most often I work as a member of a team including engineers and scientists to solve problems from quality improvement to safety of aircraft.
