Jim Howard graduated from Perkins High School 1984. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1987, and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant in 2009. He has held positions as a computer operator, database manager, systems administrator, information systems flight superintendent, and law office superintendent. While on active duty he graduated from all three Professional Military Education courses as a Distinguished Graduate. He earned his undergraduate degree in Management of Information Systems, and his graduate degree in Human Resources Administration. Jim has been married to his wife Tracy for 22 years. They have 2 children - Michael is an Ohio Army National Guard member and is a junior at Bowling Green State University. He is part of the Army ROTC's Simultaneous Membership Program. Katlyn is a senior at Fairborn High School, and has been accepted to Wright State University in the fall, where she plans to major in nursing.
