SFC Isenbart is originally from Stratton, Colorado where he graduated from Stratton High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1987, attending basic training and advanced individual training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. In 1991 he changed his MOS to Infantryman. SFC Isenbart has served in numerous leadership positions which include: Fire Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant and Senior Drill Sergeant.
His previous assignments include HHC and B Co. 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division Fort Carson, Colorado; HHC and A Co. 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 4th infantry Division, FT. Hood, Texas; B Co, D Co and F Co. 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, A Co. 2nd Battalion, 29th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia B Co. 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey, Korea; A Co. 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Fort Riley, Kansas; Akron Recruiting Company, Cleveland Recruiting Battalion; C Co. 2nd Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Georgia; HHC 8th Maintenance Battalion, Hanau, Germany; 11th Engineer Battalion (FORSCOM), Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
SFC Isenbart has continued to further his military education and training. He has graduated the Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC); Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course (BNCOC) and Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course (ANCOC). He has completed the Basic Airborne Course, Drill Sergeant School, Recruiting and Retention School, Equal Opportunity Representative Course, Combat Lifesaver Course and the Total Army Instructor Training Course.
SFC Isenbart’s awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal; Army Commendation Medal w/ 4 OLC; Army Achievement Medal w/ 1 Silver and 1 Bronze OLC; Good Conduct Medal 7th Award; National Defense Service Medal w/ Bronze Star; Iraqi Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; NCOPD Ribbon w/ numeral 2; Army Service Ribbon; Korean Defense Service Medal; Overseas Service Ribbon w/ numeral 3, Army Meritorious Unit Commendation; Combat Infantryman Badge; Expert Infantryman Badge and Parachutist Badge.
SFC Isenbart is married to the former Ms. Angela Pillitiere of Akron, Ohio. They have two children; Victoria (16) and Matthew Vincent (7).
