John Lardinois is an accomplished classical violinist and is an award-winning fiddler. He has released two solo albums on the Chairmakers Rush label and has been a guest artist on several Makoché Records releases. His solo albums Aural History and Cowboy Legacy have been featured on PBS documentaries and the latter album was an AFIM Indie Award Finalist as well as a GRAMMY Award Nominee. John received his Masters of Music from the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati (OH) and a Bachelor of Arts in music from Minot State University (ND). His primary teachers were Dr. Won-Bin Yim, Piotr Milewski, and Dr. John Rumney. Currently, John performs as a member of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and teaches violin and viola at Earlham College and IU East in Richmond Indiana. John is also a part-time violin instructor at the University of Dayton.
