Profile
Jon Pascolini, double bassist, joined the University of Dayton music department in 2009. He is currently Assistant Principal Bass in the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in Dayton, Principal Bass in the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra in Charleston, W.Va., and a section bassist with the Glimmerglass Opera. He also performs frequently with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra in Columbus, Ohio, and at the Bach and Beyond festival in Fredonia, N.Y., and has performed with the Virginia Symphony, Roanoke (Virginia) Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic, Springfield (Ohio) Symphony and in the Cooperstown Chamber Music Festival. He currently resides in Dayton where he also maintains an active teaching studio of cello and bass students.
