Profile

Dr. Linda Majka is a professor of Sociology. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California-Santa Barbara. She joined the faculty in 1981, and from 1995 to 1999 she directed the Women's Studies Program. Dr. Majka teaches courses in sociology, and for the Women's and Gender Studies Program, particularly in the areas of: sociology of women; social stratification; marriage and the family; and economy and society.
