Profile
Ryan Adrick (b.1979) was born in Jacksonville, Florida. His childhood was spent growing up in a military family, and moving all over the United States. He received his B.F.A. from Jacksonville University in 2003 and his M.F.A. from Florida State University in 2006. He has taught courses at Florida State University and for the Florida State University International Program in Florence, Italy. Recently he taught at the University of South Florida as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Photography. Currently he is the Digital Media & Facilities Coordinator here at the University of Dayton, where he has worked since 2009. In addition to his duties at the University of Dayton, Ryan is also the Treasurer for the Society of Photographic Education Midwest Region.
The Staff Perspective
I very much enjoy working closely with the graphic design and photography students in the Department of Visual Arts. I find it very rewarding to work in an environment that fosters creativity, ingenuity, and exploration. These interactions are what make my job fun and exciting.
