In February 1979, the University of Dayton and Capital University discussed the feasibility of a cooperative agreement to offer a Master's of Science in Education on the Capital University campus. In June 1980, an agreement was signed by the presidents of both institutions to begin the program. Courses would be offered at Capital University and the degree would be awarded by the University of Dayton.
We have been fortunate to have Ms. Ann Saltsman as Program Director in the Graduate Education office at Capital University for the University of Dayton. Ms. Saltsman has been employed by Capital University as the University of Dayton Program Director since 1990.
Ms. Saltsman provides the following helpful information, "Our office assists potential students, students, and faculty in many ways. If it is a matter that cannot be handled from here, we will refer them to the appropriate department at the University of Dayton. If a Capital/UD student is unsure where to call about a school-related matter, we are the best place to start. Many questions can be answered by visiting our website www.capital.edu/ud. Our office is located in Ruff Learning Center, Room 101."
Ms. Saltsman serves as liaison between Capital University and the Department of Counselor Education & Human Services at the University of Dayton.
